Pre-Admission Credit and Transfer Credit
You may apply a maximum of 16 approved credits earned before admission to the graduate program in Book Publishing to the degree. This credit limit applies to transfer credits earned outside PSU, as well as those earned at PSU before admission to the program. All pre-admission and transfer credits must be graduate level and must be: 1) letter graded B- or higher; 2) not be used for any other degree at any institution; 3) no more than seven years old at the time the Master’s degree is awarded.
If you have already earned a bachelor’s degree and don’t want to wait for formal admission into the graduate program in Book Publishing to get started, post-baccalaureate admission at PSU is the perfect choice for you. Post-baccalaureate students can take courses in the graduate program in Book Publishing prior to their formal admission into the program, and then if/when they are formally admitted, apply those courses to their degree. Go to the Admissions website for more information about the post-baccalaureate admissions process at PSU. Please note that the post-baccalaureate admission process is separate to the two-step admissions process required for admission to the graduate program in Book Publishing; it’s a simple, quick admission process that requires only one application.
